Eagle Eye Publishers, the
premier commercial source of government spending
data since 1986, is making its wealth of
contract, grant, loan, insurance and other
federal government financial information
available for free to the general public through
USASpending.org.
The data presented on this
web site largely consists of primary source data
provided by US government agencies. Significant
data elements, including the Parent Company
names assigned to company divisions and the
Congressional Districts assigned to geographic
areas, are enhancements provided by Eagle Eye to
make the data more easily understood and more
usable. All information on this site is
historical in nature - spending that has already
occurred and been reported by the agencies.
Updates to the data will be posted periodically
throughout the year.
We offer this information in
the form of two applications, one focusing on
contracts, or procurement, and the other on
grants. Generally, contracts support the
operations of government and grants provide
assistance to individuals. To begin exploring
contract or grant data, click the appropriate
tab at the top of the sidebar on the left.
